The Exponential Impact team is excited to announce that Prakhar Gautam will be joining us as the full-time Program Coordinator for the upcoming year.

So far, Prakhar has been working on administering the Survive & Thrive COS program, ensuring that local small businesses receive the resources they need during COVID-19.  As Program Coordinator, Prakhar will be responsible for managing our XI Accelerator and XI Amplify programs. “With each of these programs, I’m interested in helping founders of early-stage and late-stage ventures grow their core mission,” Prakhar said. “This role is about building startups that last.”

Prakhar is excited to bring his various experiences with startups to this role. Previously, he was an intern for XI, evaluating our previous Accelerator programs and thinking about what might be next for 2020. Last year, Prakhar interned at Peak Startup, where he researched and developed startup programs. Additionally, Prakhar is a founder himself. As a recent Colorado College graduate (majoring in Biochemistry, minoring in Classics), Prakhar pitched his idea in Colorado College’s Big Idea Pitch Competition. His team received $7,500 in seed funding to continue developing their company, Infinite Chemistry. Infinite Chemistry uses Virtual Reality to help students and researchers interact with and understand molecules.

Next year, Prakhar will be pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at Purdue. He is particularly interested in studying  electrochemistry that improves solar cells and batteries. We are lucky to have him on the team, and can’t wait to see what he accomplishes!
