Is your startup ready for the XI Amplify program? Hear from one of XI’s Entrepreneurs in Residence, Bryan Lee, about what we are looking for in Amplify applications. Bryan co-founded Oscium, a hardware technology company, over ten years ago. Oscium is in the business of making wi-fi awesome, and it has won a number of awards, including a R&D 100.
Why should I apply to Amplify?
Amplify is a 12-month program that provides support and guidance to startups in growth mode. Companies that are in the program meet regularly with me (as the EiR) and the XI staff. Our goals are the same: to help you be as successful as possible. Startups have access to a whole host of resources including: a group of mentors, other startups, XI interns, investors, as well as XI’s deep network of connections.
The program will be hybrid, combining the best of in-person networking and office space with the flexibility of virtual programming. Teams will have access to work out of the XI venture space, in accordance with CDC guidelines. The majority of early 2021 programming will be done virtually and then will shift to in-person monthly events, as appropriate.
What are you looking for in Amplify companies?
We’re looking for rockstar companies. Founders should be looking to scale but need help pulling it off. Most importantly, we’re looking for founders that are teachable.
