PROGRAM history
Exponential Impact’s Survive & Thrive Program began out of an acute need to support businesses that were struggling with the adverse effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. As financial first-responders, XI distributed $2.3 million in low-interest, non-recourse loans to 132 small businesses in Colorado Springs before any federal funding was disbursed, resulting in $156 million in economic impact.
In addition to access to funding, Survive & Thrive provided local businesses with access to programming, mentorship, and community. Since 2020, XI has completed another 2 iterations of the Survive & Thrive program which has had a significant impact on the City of Colorado Springs.
SURVIVE AND THRIVE PROGRAMS
Survive and Thrive Accelerate COS Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) is an initiative led by Exponential Impact, in partnership with the City of Colorado Springs, who’s core competency is in pairing funding with holistic programming to support sustainable growth. The purpose of Survive and Thrive RLF is to provide support and growth infrastructure to business owners to make necessary pivots and develop scaffolding for future city-wide prosperity. The primary goals of the program are to offer an accessible program to accelerate economic growth, provide capital and expertise to local businesses, and create/retain jobs.
The Crisis Response COS Program is a comprehensive initiative designed to support our local small business community in navigating through unexpected crises that threaten their operational stability and future growth. Recognizing the wide array of challenges that can constitute a crisis, the program defines a crisis as any uncontrollable event or sequence of events that significantly disrupts the normal operations of a business. This can range from natural disasters, such as floods and earthquakes, to any significant event that poses a threat to the business's ability to operate effectively.
